Registration is now open for the BPW Mediterranean Symposium which will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 23-25 November 2018.
The deadline for registration is 24 September 2018.
As previously announced, the Symposium will bring together delegates from BPW Clubs and Federations from all countries bordering on the Mediterranean Sea. Together we hope to identify, analyse and address the common challenges that women entrepreneurs in our region face.
We are also delighted that Ms Amany Asfour, President of BPW International, and other members of the International Executive Committee and European Coordinating Committee will be joining us.
Attached is the Preliminary programme, with a reminder that we would welcome any topic suggestions that would enrich the Symposium and maximize the benefits for all participants. The deadline for submissions is 15 September, so I can finalize the programme and circulate before the registration deadline.
There are two ways you can register for the Symposium:
2. Register via email, by printing and filling out the attached registration form, or by filling out and directly emailing the pdf form from our website at http://www.bpwcyprus.org.
All payments must be made via bank transfer, as explained in the registration form.
For your hotel accommodation, I have attached the booking forms of two hotels for you to choose from. Both are within walking distance form the Symposium venue. Of course, you may choose to make any alternative accommodation arrangements.
As a reminder, make sure to book your flights to arrive at Larnaka International Airport, where you will have the following transfer options:
1. KAPNOS airport shuttle bus to Nicosia: €8.00 per person. (30 minutes drive)
If you choose to use the shuttle bus, please send us exact arrival times closer to the date, so we can arrange for transportation from the bus stop in Nicosia to the hotel, which is just a few minutes away.
2. Private taxi from airport to hotel: €45.00
This is also recommended if you have just missed the shuttle bus which departs every hour, with some exceptions https://www.
Also note that the above taxi rate is a special rate that we have negotiated with our regular taxi service. Please let me know if you would like me to book you this service. Without pre-booking you will always find many taxis outside the airport, but they are likely to charge a somewhat higher rate.
I look forward to your broad response to this invitation, as the success of this event is linked to your active participation. Only by working together can we support women entrepreneurs in our country and the region as a whole.
Looking forward to seeing you in November,
